Due to Crust Network's relatively low profile in the market, I ve come up with a proposal that should aid in increasing crust's awareness.
As we all know, in this age and time, getting and keeping people's attention is not as easy as it used to be.

A Decentralized cloud storage provider should be what everyone should be looking for but most are too lazy to read about the utilities a project like Crust provides and are much more inclined to the status quo which is convenient for them.

To move Crust Network forward, I think these audience should be targeted next. Those that love ease and convenience.

I propose the creation of an application that will connect directly to Crust Mainnet and aid in file storage.

I believe that this will help drive the adoption of decentralized storage solutions and demonstrate the potential of the Crust Network to both the web3 community and those new to web3. This can also serve to introduce new audiences to Crust and what it offers.

This will address a key concern for users of cloud storage which has always been Security and Privacy as many cases of data misuse have been reported. An example being when Dropbox deleted all the confidential data of the customers in 2014, due to security glitch in their system. Or the 2014 icloud hack that leaked hundreds of nude celebrity photos online.

This will offer then a better alternative, a cheaper alternative, a decentralized alternative.

This will solve also the issue of accessibility with mobile device users who have to go through alot while setting up external browsers like Kiwi or Mises then download the Crust wallet extensions before being able to enjoy crust services. Alot of people I've personally introduced crust to lose interest along the way or just can't get around the processes and just revert back to conventional centralized storage providers.

This alone will bring in a lot of new users who will find crust both safer and cheaper option when it's as easily accessible as the conventional centralized storages.

I really hope this proposal is favorable looked upon.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your proposal to Crust Network. We appreciate your enthusiasm and interest in increasing awareness of our network. However, we regret to inform you that we will not be moving forward with your proposal.

The creation of an application that connects directly to Crust Mainnet for file storage is not a viable solution at this time. We already have two applications in place, Crust Files for general users and Crust Cloud for developers. These applications serve our community well and provide the necessary functionality for file storage.

If you have a better suggestion, please describe it in details.

We encourage you to continue exploring ways to support and contribute to the Crust Network community, and welcome any future proposals that align with our mission and goals.

Thank you Aki for taking the time to go through my proposal.
My proposal was aimed directly at general users of Crust files for ease of access.
Tho the already available application that could be accessed by installing for example kiwi browser on mobile in order to install a Crust wallet extension does provide the necessary functionality, there is no doubt room for improvement. To the point where one could save files directly from the directory to Crust files as is possible from say android to Google drive and iPhones to icloud.
This alone has the potential to boost the adoption of Crust Network's Crust files feature due to its relatively ease of access, cheap and way better features than the conventional centralized storage providers.
