Hi AD,
Nice to see your proposal here!
Based on our current community situation, I would like to suggest that we can try to do the AMA in telegram first.
For discord, firstly, the number of people is small, and secondly, if the time is on weekends, there will be no guests who are willing to work on the rest day. We might be able to plan some long-term events for discord.
But I still have some concerns about TG's AMA. According to our historical experience, most people will not go back to the chat history, and its effect is not as good as Twitter space. And we've done AMAs with multiple projects, but in Twitter.
Do you have any good suggestions about the above issues?
Thank you!
Aki

@Aki
thank you so much Aki for looking at my proposal we can start with TG voice chat and make proper announcements and prepare ahead of time ,I believe if we do that we can have more people on the voice chat.
it’s going to be a voice chat not a text chat,we can always have a recording of it ,inform of audio.

Hi AD, thanks for your suggestions. I think it's doable, we can have a try. But there are still some questions.
One issue with recording the voice chat as audio is that it will only be accessible to those who missed the live discussion and will have to go back and listen to the recording. If we want to preserve the discussion for future reference, recording the video might be a better option, even though it may not have the best presentation effect. However, as you mentioned, we could consider uploading the video to YouTube as a record of the event.

Regarding the announcement, it's important to inform the community beforehand about the event. Since this is a Crust community event, it would be best to choose a topic that is most relevant and of interest to our community members. To ensure that the discussion will be engaging and meaningful, we could propose four different options and let the community vote on the one they would like to discuss. This way, we can ensure that the discussion will be engaging and meaningful to our users. Do you have any good topics want to share?

Thank you Aki for taking your time to review my proposal and since we are already having a weekly twitter space, I suggest we have the TG voice chat once in a month in order not to bug our audience with much AMAs , so for the first 5 months I was able to come up with the following topics to test run the event and I will teaching our audience the listed topics below every month for the next 5 months.

I. Introduction to decentralized storage

  • Definition and key concepts
  • Benefits and drawbacks of decentralized storage
  • Types of decentralized storage systems

II. Decentralized storage protocols

  • Crust Network
  • Other decentralized storage protocols

III. Decentralized storage applications

  • Decentralized cloud storage
  • Decentralized file sharing
  • Decentralized content delivery networks

IV. Implementing decentralized storage

  • Setting up a decentralized storage system
  • Integration with existing storage systems
  • Use cases and best practices

V. Decentralized storage and the future of data management

  • Trends and developments in decentralized storage
  • Potential impacts on data privacy and security
  • Ethical and legal considerations of decentralized storage

Then for recording aspect we can use a screen recording software to get the video recording,we can use tella tv for the recording, they do great job and it’s free.

Reward to carry out this activity: 200 CRU

Hi AD, thank you for your suggestions!
First, I think it would be great to change the frequency of activities to monthly. At the same time, I also think that sharing screens is a great idea. Before that, I'd like to first do a simple and brief AMA for a test. Like I said in the group to use it to answer some common questions about Crust that new users may ask.
Secondly, since we will have to share screens every time, I think we will also need some time to prepare slides. Will you be taking on the role of the host during these events? Will you also help with preparing slides or will it be the responsibility of our team members?
Lastly, as these topics are all about decentralized storage and are relatively technical, I am unsure if our community members in tg will be attracted to their attention. I suggest that we do 3 episodes first, and then decide whether to continue with this theme.
What do you think about that?

Alright thank you Aki for your response
first of all if you want us to test it first there is no problem we can go ahead with that ,suggest a day and we will test it.
secondly since the team members are always busy ,I can take care of the slide preparation if the team permits me.
the last one I don’t think members should be bored about the topics because that is what crust is all about ,our major aim is to preach the use cases of Crust network and as well turn Traders to holders ,so as you suggested we can start with 3 episodes first then see how it’s goes.

Hi AD,
For the test AMA, the team can prepare the FAQ. And once it ready, I will share the docs into the group.
In the first test, we hope that you can be the host and we will invite a team member as the guest. The main focus of the test is to check the screen sharing and recording functions. Additionally, through this test, we will observe the tg members' reactions to the AMA. The tentative date is set for next Monday and I will confirm the time with others.
Also, the AMA topics you proposed are quite technical. If there's anything that needs help, please let us know. I think you can prepare the slides for the first episode first and the team will evaluate it together and see if there are any suggestions for revisions.
